James is a graduate from both Mount Allison (B.Comm) and Dalhousie University (MBA). Born and raised in Halifax, James has strong roots across Nova Scotia. His wife Kristan also hails from Nova Scotia and is a registered nurse on the South Shore. He is an avid camper and outdoorsman, a baseball fanatic, music enthusiast and a big fan of all animals, including his cats and Dutch sheepdog.
